Vote for Susie on Thursday!
30 year old Susie lives in Whitley Bay where she runs a swap boutique.
Although she has only recently joined the North Tyneside Green Party she has been a long time supporter of the party's concepts and political philosophy.
Susie said
"I see this election as an opportunity to build on the progress that Greens have been making in North Tyneside over the last year and I will be campaigning on a full range of issues that affect the people of both Preston Ward and North Tyneside."
These issues include:
- Keeping the Tyne & Wear Metro in public hands
- the development of Green housing and industrial initiatives
- and the role of young people in the life of the borough.
Ms. Rutherford's agent Martin Collins said
"We are looking forward to this by-election where we can continue to build understanding of what Green politics is all about.
