Newcastle to stand full slate of Green parliamentary candidates

Newcastle Green Party is delighted to announce that Anna Heyman has been selected with overwhelming support as prospective parliamentary candidate for the Newcastle North constituency. Her selection means that Newcastle will now be standing a full slate of parliamentary candidates in the forthcoming general election. It was agreed that given the growing support for the Green Party in Newcastle, every effort should be made to contest all 26 local wards in Newcastle, giving the city a Green candidate for every local and national position for the first time.
